Bystřice pod Hostýnem

The center of the ORP (municipality with extended jurisdiction), which includes 13 municipalities, is the city of Bystřice pod Hostýnem. More than half of the population of the ORP area lives here, specifically 8,369 inhabitants. The natural dominant of the area is the Hostýnské vrchy (Hostýn Hills), and municipalities are often found at the foot of the hills at an altitude of 308 m above sea level. Although it is one of the smallest ORPs in the Zlín Region, the panorama of the Hostýnské vrchy (Hostýn Hills), the proximity of nature and the tradition of crafts are the attractions of the area.
