Kroměříž

Kroměříž is located in the northwestern part of the Zlín Region and borders all the remaining districts in the region – in the northeast with the Vsetín District, in the east with the Zlín District and in the southeast with the Uherské Hradiště District. The vast majority of the district is made up of the fertile Haná Plain, which in places turns into hills. The Morava River flows through the district, into which only smaller tributaries flow – the Haná, Kotojedka, Moštěnka and Rusava rivers.
