Valašské Meziříčí

The administrative district of Valašské Meziříčí is located in the northeastern part of the Zlín Region and forms part of the northern border of the region with the Olomouc and Moravian-Silesian Regions. Other neighbors are the administrative districts of the Zlín Region, namely Bystřice pod Hostýnem in the southwest, Vsetín in the south and Rožnov pod Radhoštěm in the east. It is the district with the third largest share of residents living in cities.
